My Wife & I are local business owners of nearly two decades & before opening our business I ran & managed operations, customer service & sales teams for large companies where I believe I gained a pretty good understanding for what goes into effective approaches to working with the public, a business' very important customer base. There is so much that goes into customer “service” & “relations” that many/most customers don’t understand or think about, . . . this is especially true in a medical situation where there is pain, fear & expense…all things that, rightly so, prompt the patient/customer to become very selfish & forget the challenge(s) at hand for that business to provide the custom-tailored engagement that they are seeking and in this case, I believe, deserve. I have family that have been in dentistry for over 60 years, own their practice & unfortunately are on the east coast. Over the past 40 years I have gone to visit them just for dental work and there was a brief period of time that I had a local dentist here that retired about 25 years ago - Since then I have had a very difficult time finding an office that I was comfortable with and will add that I have had some very uncomfortable scenarios play out that, over the years, have created a substantial level of anxiety in just the idea of a dental visit and as many of us know, the result of that is not always going when we should. Enter this team at East Oaks Dental Group ! This review is likely lengthier than usual yet I’m sure it will still fall short in conveying the significance of my visit…With great hesitation I made an appointment for an introductory visit for cleaning, x-rays, etc. and once in the chair they were able to address issues that were familiar to me from other dental offices where those doctors had similar findings BUT I never moved forward at those locations….Why, there was no level of trust, everything felt negative & off. The expense in conjunction with my level of doubt was enough to “hold off” on getting things done. …that is until I met these people – From the very first impression made by the front counter staff where my questions were answered all the way to the assistants, hygienists & doctors where impeccable organization & communication was established to such a level that I began to be able to finally relax & trust that I would, after so many years, be taken care of. I know I have been in offices where I could see & feel that there were individual staff members who were really nice & seemed great at their work BUT were, unfortunately, part of dysfunctional teams where much of the benefit of what they offered as an individuals was lost to and absorbed by the weakness of their team. Like a coach of any great team, the value & effectiveness of each player on the team can be magnified or diminished by the way that team is lead, organized or managed and it is this final aspect that I believe is what really sets East Oaks Dental Group apart. That is each of the people working in this facility being so excellent with what they do & how to do it in a way that is effective, efficient & comforting. I did my best to thank each & every one of the staff that worked with me and especially the office manager Christa who, without her, I believe much of the great work & efforts by everyone else there would have been diminished.

Very professional and very friendly. I highly recommend this practice and I have been going for many years. They listen to your concerns and worry and figure out the best course of actions.
